The action is great with outstanding tone, projection and ease of articulation.
It has a few light scratches and polishing swirls as to be expected from a used silver plated instrument. There is a small ding on the back of the lip plate pointed out in the pictures. It is hard to see in person, stands out more for the camera.
Don't let it's age fool you, this flute was built to last and last.
These scratches in no way affect the flutes sound or
play-ability
