Xtreme Light Weight ring & pinions gears
only.
They are by far the lightest
'out of the box'
9" Ford ring & pinions on the market today.
If cost is a factor, don't read any farther. But, if you want the lightest out-of-the-box 9" Ford ring & pinion package, keep reading!!
The backside of the ring gear is machined to the maximum amount you can remove without sacrificing strength.
They can save up to
6 lbs.
over a standard gear set.
So these spools are offset accordingly to allow you to run the thinner ring gear.
If you try to use these spools with a stock ring gear, it ain't gonna work!!!
That means, these spools 'have' to be run with a specialy offset ring & pinion.
(yup, I sell the correct ring & pinions, so check my other auctions for the correct gear for use with these spools.
Can be used in stock Ford or aftermarket cases.
They use the common 1.781" i.d. carrier bearings.
