This flute would benefit from a cleaning, oil and adjust for optimal performance.The tubing wall thickness is .014 inches(thin wall) and the serial number is in the mid 44,xxx range, dating the year of manufacture to approximately 1978. Haynes has always made some of the best playing flutes in the world and this flute is no exception!  The head joint, flute body and keys are solid silver.  This flute has the inline G key, pointed key cups, soldered tone holes and a low B key! Haynes flutes are revered worldwide by legendary artists of the past and present.
