Up for auction is an amazing William S. Haynes handmade open hole model flute with C foot joint. All keys move freely and the pads/key corks are in fair to good condition. The tubing wall thickness is .014 inches(thin wall) and the serial number is in the upper 43,xxx range, which dates manufacture to approximately 1978. There are no major dents present and several minor dings don't affect performance. The lightly tarnished flute has minor surface scratches from normal use. This flute has soldered tone holes, an inline G key, pointed key cups and the headjoint/body/keys are all solid silver. The flute plays fine now, but may require a few minor adjustments after shipping.
