    Description

    Used Gemeinhardt 3B Intermediate Flute: Gold Lip Plate, Open Hole, B Foot, inline G, Silver Plated, MPN: R42461
    Comes with head joint, body, foot joint, hard case (black vinyl on wood, red velvet interior, Gemeinhardt logo impression on exterior top flap corner), soft case (black nylon with soft plush fabric, Gemeinhardt logo embroidery), case strap, metal cleaning rod, and plastic cleaning rod.
    Head joint has a durable plastic "cork", meaning that it will not have to be replaced after purchasing due to wear. Pads were replaced once in 2016. The silver plating is worn out in multiple areas of the flute; please reference the listing pictures and use history below for further details. Flute is still in playable condition.
    Use history: purchased new in 2014 and played almost daily for two years; then, stored and not played for four and a half years, resulting in silver plating degradation.
    I treated this flute very well while I played it:
    Flute was thoroughly swabbed with silk swab and plastic rod and stored back into its case after every single use or in between long periods of not playing as to prevent moisture from remaining in flute. I never let this flute sit on a chair with the keys face down or hit it in any way that resulted in a significant dent. I took the flute to the musical instrument repair shop for checkups when needed.
