Mauro Bonaventura is a revered lampwork glass artist in Venice/Murano, creating master works ranging in size from these small pendants to greater-than-life glass sculptures. Photos from one of his books are attached as examples. The human form is essential to much of his work. This series of pendants resulted from the desire to free and isolate the human figures who are generally trapped inside his larger sculptures. The pendants present the female figure in different colors typified by beauty and grace.
Mauro Bonaventura's glass sculptures have been featured in some of the leading art galleries in the world, exhibited at major art shows in the United States and Europe, and included in major museum shows. He lives and works in the Venice area.
