Directions for Best Results:
Step 1: Test Clearance
Before removing the tape backing cover. Make Sure the Lock is Not Interfering with the Opening of the Sliding Door or Window by placing and holding with one hand, and slide the overlapping door or window with the other hand. Again, do not remove the tape backing at this stage. Test position and decide on which side to install the sliding door lock.
Step 2: Clean and Dry the Surface
Clean and Dry the Surface you want to Place Your Sure Basics Child Safety Locks. This step is very important as it removes moisture, which will result in the adhesive lasting a few years.
Step 3: Peel tape backing
Peel the Protective Paper off the Adhesive Tape and make sure to not touch the adhesive tape.
Step 4: Install and attach
Align and attach on the determined location on the Surface and Press Down Firmly for a Few Seconds. Please keep unlocked for 24 hours for the adhesive to stick nicely to the surface.
