Gorgeous vintage 1939 Manning-Bowman Jubilee #101 Buffet Serverette! Gorgeous 5pc electric food warmer was introduced by Manning - Bowman in their 1939 "For Any Occasion • Electric Appliances" catalog. From the Jubilee series, this serverette has a beautiful design with a round chrome body, accented with amazing butterscotch bakelite handles, lid handle and 4 round orb pedestal feet. The warmer has 2 heavy weight 1Qt each original Pyrex half moon glass inserts that you can bake in and place right into the warmer to serve with ease! Serverette heats right up (cord included) and will be quite the conversation starter to any gathering! These beauties were every homemakers dream back in the day! Can be used for hot or cold food by packing with ice to keep chilled or plenty of warming power with 70 watts using 120 volts to heat, breakfast, lunch, dinner, fondue or party food can be ready to eat anytime. Chrome easily wipes clean with a soft cloth for quick clean up, though do not immerse due to the heating element inside serverette. Looks to have been used very little and cloth cord is in excellent condition too! Stunning

Serverette warmer is in excellent working condition! (tested) NO chips, dings or pings to chrome! Does show the usual light pre-loved surface scuff wear here and there from years of helping Ethel keep supper at the ready, but does not distract from this wonderful piece of 20th century history. 1 glass insert has tiny fleabite on edge rim, also does not distract.
