The Sound Town ARES-10D2 is a 10“ Dual Voice Coil (DVC) car subwoofer. It handles 1000W RMS, 2000W program, 4000W peak power. With dual 3“ 4-layer copper wire voice coils, it drives the woofer accurately for top-notch performance under extreme conditions. It has a cast aluminum basket with direct coil cooling in black texture coating, together with a ultra-stiff and lightweight non-pressed paper cone and high-density stitched foam, it delivers outstanding sound performance with minimal distortion.
The ARES-10D2 has double stacked 180 oz high quality magnets built in; The aluminum heatsink, T-yoke and washers keep the voice coil cool and allow the woofer to keep delivering consistent and reliable sound bass performance.
