SILVER PLATED ENTREE DISH OLD SHEFFIELD CIRCA 1903 ON STAND SHELL & GADROON

Description

Footed. Gadroon and shell boarder. Silver on copper. Comes apart in 5 pieces; the footed holder, the hot water dish, the decorative serving dish, the lid with a removable handle. Dimensions are 15.25"L x 9" W, measurements include the handles. Hand rolled edges.  Some parts may have been made by Forbes Silver Co. around 1894.  There is a dancing bull etched on the side of the lid.  There is some copper visible on the very bottom of the footers and on the bottom of the serving tray (see all photos).
