MILLS BROTHERS & More...They were a jazz and pop vocal quartet of the 20th century
producing more than 2,000 recordings that sold more than
50 million copies and garnered at least three dozen gold records.
The Mills Brothers were inducted into The Vocal Group Hall
of Fame in 1998. The group was originally composed of four
African-American brothers all born in Piqua, Ohio, 25 miles
(40 km) north of Dayton: John Sr. (1882-1967) basso and guitarist,
Herbert (1912-1989) tenor, Harry (1913-1982) baritone, and
Donald (1915-1999) lead tenor. Norman Bray, who has signed
as a guitarist. Super-rare set of four vintage album pages,
each inscribed and signed as follows:John, Sr. and Herbert
are back-to-back, Donald and Norman are back-to-back,
and Harry is back-to-back with Mary Healy.
