    Description

    Interesting very rare and old csakan/ flageolet or piccoloflute made of wood. No makersname to be found. The labium is damaged., so the instrument needs professional repair. No cracks. The (probably original) mouthpiece was made of bone The instrument needs repair, cleaning and service. (see pic) The instrument measures 13 Inch /33cm  (without the mouthpiece) The sounding length is approx. 6 3/4 Inch (17cm).   I dont know in what key it plays in .
