Gold Plated Lip Plate

Crown

on the inside of the head joint. This lends an intense glow to the sound. A more brilliant and exciting flute is the result.
The former owner apparently had somewhat acidic hands and there is some spotting on the body of the flute. This is no way affects playability or sonority of this

and this instrument will deliver musical pleasure for many years to come.
