This is an 11 5/8 x 14 Scrapbook page.
One side is for a 1986 The Pointers Sisters concert.
The other side is for a 1986 Anne Murray Concert.
Clipped print images and original artwork (beautiful pencil "Pointer Sisters" sketch) adhered to a medium weight, stock paper page.
The Pointers Sisters event took place at the USF Sun Dome on 4/3/1986
The Anne Murray event took place at the USF Sun Dome on 3/28/1986
Side one is signed by the 3 members of The Pointers Sisters:
Anita Pointer, June Pointer
(d. 2006), and
Ruth Pointer
. All have signed, with full signatures in dark brown fine point
Side two is signed by
Anne Murray
. She has signed in purple fine point and has dated her signature as, March 28, 1986
Minor foxing to both sides of the poster.
This item comes from a large concert scrapbook, created by student event coordinators, at the University of South Florida in Tampa, during the 1980’s and 1990’s.
All these events were held at the USF Sun Dome, Tampa.
In essence, these items are artist autographed, student made, promotional event posters.

Bio and Background:
The Pointer Sisters are an American R&B singing group from Oakland, California that achieved mainstream success during the 1970s and 1980s. Spanning over four decades, their repertoire has included such diverse genres as pop, disco, jazz, electronic music, bebop, blues, soul, funk, dance, country and rock. The Pointer Sisters have won three Grammy Awards and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994. The group had 13 US top 20 hits between 1973 and 1985.
Morna Anne Murray CC ONS (born June 20, 1945) is a Canadian singer. Her albums consisting primarily of pop, country, and adult contemporary music have sold over 55 million copies worldwide during her 40-year career.
