    Description

    This is a very delicate, beautifully carved bone pendant that was purchased over 20 years ago from an estate sale.  The depiction of the Asian village theme is lovely, but the most impressive part is the extremely intricate (almost filigree-like) background which is very thin, showing the artistry of this highly skilled carver.  There are a few places where it appears to be cracked...but it does not appear to affect the stability of the piece.  Other than that, it is in very good, used condition.    It measures approx 1-1/2 inches tall.
