The new
Type AM
headjoint from
Yamaha
was developed as an exciting and colorful accompaniment to
Yamaha's 500, 600
and
700
series handmade flutes.
Made of
Sterling Silver (.925)
it features a well balanced resistance over the whole range and enables the flutist to produce a beautiful sound in a wide dynamic spectrum.
Interestingly enough, the
Gold Plating
on the
Lip Plate
and extending throughout the
Interior
of the tube has a substantial and very positive effect on the sonics of the head joint and therefore on the entire flute. The resulting sonority is large with extra robustness and a much more interesting tone palette.
