    Description

I have had many people say I "make beautiful flutes". "Thankyou", I say, "but I do not make Flutes". "I take a piece of wood and just remove the chips and sawdust to release the Flute that is within".
I am not a professional wood worker the statement above is true
    and accurate.
Hello You are lookin at a risingphoenixflutes built by Marcus Dyess. All work is done by hand.
The Flute is electronically tuned. I have been releasing flutes from wood for about 6 years.
This flute is in the key of F# @ 440 HZ. The Flute is 23 3/4" inches long. This flute has a very nice strong bright lively yet mellow voice.
Breath do not blow into this flute.
It likes to be played with soft breath of air
. The bore is 1". The finish is hand rubbed Oddie's oil and Oddie's wax.
The Flute is created from Walnut wood. The Totem is created from Cherry Wood. The Flute has a fused glass cabochon set in it and one set in the totem.
The suede leather straps are hand cut.
You will not be disappointed. The 1st link is of this flute being played the other links are reviews of my flutes or customers playing my flutes.
