    Those of you in the know will know that this is one of the finest flute makers in the world to replace a flute of this quality would be considerably more than I am asking. The STANDARD SILVER R is the prequel to the current 'DS' model and features a solid silver handcut headjoint, silver body, footjoint and keys which produces a beautiful warm responsive sound and has a quality of sound that is vastly superior to its peers in my opinion.
    The mechanism is light and superbly constructed and makes this model a joy to play. This particular is offered in nice condition, serviced with still very good pads.
    This particular model represents excellent value against the current 'DS' model. It has the same sound but at a fraction of the cost.
