This is an EXTRAORDINARY Louis Lot wood flute.
The Stradivarius of the Flute world, Louis Lot changed the way that flutes were made forever and is considered to be one of the finest flutemakers to have ever lived. This incredible wood flute is a great example of his early work. It is a cylindrical bore instrument and is the easiest playing, most responsive, and sweetest sounding flute I've ever heard. This is exactly what Brahms was thinking of when he wrote his gorgeous flute lines. This magnificent instrument is in gorgeous condition. Wood is superb without any cracks. New pads have just been installed by my master flute technician, and this instrument plays sublimely. Instrument is unaltered and is its original sounding length.
