This flute was very lucky to our kid too,who was brand new to flute, she moved 2 positions up in the band (without any private lessons or overly stressful practices), and there is no musical genius in our family

Like any instruments, we believe that the same exact model can produce different quality of sound, this flute for the cost was well worth the investment as student flute player.
My kid keeps this flute like new condition, it has been used but well cared for, there is some minor barely noticeable scratch from everyday wear and tear at the head joint & foot joint, no dent!
