: My name is Lisa and I started Alexander Legacy Gifts this year after a series of events in 2020 nearly broke me. In addition to the Covid pandemic, I ended my marriage due to domestic violence, I was 39 and pregnant with my first child at the time, and experiencing eclampsia seizures and falls that left me with brain damage. I had to undergo an emergency C-section in late 2020 at six months gestation and my son lived for only 9 days after birth. I have his footprints and handprints to cherish, and those along with the "Footprints in the Sand" poem have provided me with comfort through the grieving period. I decided that I wanted to find a silver lining to these tragedies and start a project that I was capable of doing with my health issues. Hence I created Alexander Legacy Gifts, named after my late son. My creations are completely hand-made, beautiful and affordable.
