Gemeinhardt Custom original  solid silver custom headjoint 8 piece set with carrying bag and case. Headjoint kit includes 4 regular K,S,M and J headjoint plus 4 thin-wall K,S,M and J headjoints.ACTUAL PICTURES OF ITEM.

The entire 8 piece kit is factory part number 10919 and retails for $ 5656 in 2004 for EIGHT headjoints including kit case and bag as shown.

This kit is often found in university music programs for flute students to try different headjoints so they can decide which model would increase their speed of playing, lessen the effort of blowing and assist in getting the best tone.
Most professional are aware of the benefit of having choices in headjoints  as every flute player's embouchure is different.
The kit has a nice Gemeinhardt bag and sturdy case for storage and travel.
The factory description of the regular heavy weight headjoints follows. Thinwall models are as you can imagine are lighter and have a lighter air quality to the tone.
All are SOLID SILVER and have "Custom" engraved on each one. Selling as eight piece set only.
The "K" headjoint offers somewhat more resistance but, as a result, provides a sound which projects brilliantly. It is extremely responsive in the low register and lends itself particularly well to very soft playing in the high register.
The "S" headjoint combines brilliance with a rich dark sound and is capable of superb projection. The response is quick in all registers and extreme dynamic contrasts are readily achievable.
The "M" headjoint produces a full, warm sound that is colorbalanced throughout all registers without sacrificing quickness of articulation in the lower register.
The "J" headjoint offers the least resistance of the headjoints in our series. It provides extremely quick response in the low register while retaining a free-blowing high register.
