This beautiful Yamaha Allegro YFL-371 open-hole flute has a gold-plated lip plate, sterling silver head joint, an offset G and a split-E mechanism. It comes with a French-style hard case, zippered cover and cleaning materials.All are in excellent condition.
The flute produces a warm, rich sound and has excellent response in all registers. The open-hole keys will provide precise control of intonation and the offset G key will offer ergonomic comfort in the player's hands. It has a durable body and is the perfect step up for a serious player.
This pre-owned flute has the slightest cosmetic markings. A technician has determined it will need to have one pad (G#) replaced and could probably use a full adjustment since it hasn't been played in 15 years. He quoted for this work 2 years ago.
This instrument is gorgeous and has only been played about 6 years before being stored in a smoke-free home.
It appears that a comparable intermediate-level 300-series Yamaha flute would cost about 00-1500 new.
