This flute is in great shape and plays all 3 octaves well. It has some scratches and blemishes from normal use. It doesn't have any major dents. This would be a great backup flute as it is light but still has a warm sound. It would be a good flute for a student that may advance quickly. The solid silver headjoint gives students, that may not be ready for a heavier step-up flute or open holes, room to grow.
