Let me first start by saying that I know nothing about flutes other than sterling silver is good. I purchased this at an estate sale And took it same day to a flute specialist in Michigan. According to them, the flute is the topaz model (please research to learn more about what this model offers), well used and in good condition. The seals have wear but do not need replacing. I asked about what I thought was a dent (a couple small nicks as well) on the lip, which it is but again, their assessment is that it will not inhibit play. This business buys and sells flutes and offered me 0, which causes me to put some stock in their assessment. I say this to give you some confidence but understand that to you it may come off as hearsay. I have no interest in a bad sale so I am transferring as much as I know about something I know nothing. I can get an insurance appraisal at additional cost if needed.
