the vintage horn (or tooth) features two thin vertical insets of .925 sterling
the body of the horn is made up of thin, shaved turquoise slices placed together
kind of like a mosaic with some imperfections
designed that way to emphasize the VINTAGE motif
the bead cap is a domed sterling piece enhanced with
double rows of
circle
designs
plus two bezel set horizontally placed, bezel set teardrop TURQUOISE insets
the bail
is a circular loop
we have shown the pendant suspended on a thin grosgrain ribbon
however, our best advice would be to add
one jump ring to the loop & suspend your necklace from that OR
YOU could simply use a very thin sterling neck chain that would fit
through the affixed loop...it's up to you depending on your choice
of chain/necklace...for men or women it would be attractive on
a very thin black leather cord-either a neck ring or a thin ribbon
the piece is eye-catching, but could use a steam cleaning
however, our clients say "don't polish it, pauli, we like the "vintage appeal"
so we try to follow their path & wishes
personally, we'd like to view the pendant on a long 24-30"
