Listed is a Carl Fischer Flute With Case, marked "N. Y." and "756".  It shows normal wear in several areas but seems to be in working condition.

his is a student model manufactured by Bettoney but marked as Carl Fischer. Carl Fischer was an importer/dealer and the act of one brand producing something and another "branding" it was (and still is) referred to as "stenciling"... The specs for your flute are nickel plated finish, soldered toneholes, C-B trill key, C foot (with double rollers)."
