    Description

A=392 Traverso after Rippert by Simon Polak in Flamed Boxwood.
This is a custom ordered Rippert flute from Simon Polak of The Netherlands, commissioned in 2013.
This flute is made out of beautifully flamed boxwood, and plays with a large and colorful tone, in true French fashion. With a more rounded tone than Hotteterre copies, this flute benefits from a wide bore and a fairly large embouchure hole in comparison.
A fine flute for anyone wanting to explore earlier French rep. A lovely instrument to look at and play.
One small cosmetic chip to the middle ornamental ring. Wood is in perfect condition – no warping or cracks.
