    Description

Authentic Spanish-colonial silver shipwreck cob coin, minted in Potosi (Bolivia.), 1/2-Real (half-real) denomination, in sterling silver custom bezel pendant with solid yellow gold prongs and one rough/uncut emerald. Date not clearly visible. The coin is mounted in a one of a kind custom handmade bezel setting, made of nautical/Ship's-rope-inspired sterling silver with solid 10k yellow gold prongs. A single uncut natural emerald crystal (hexagonal pillar-type crystal) is mounted on one corner of the bezel (see photos, top right hand corner next to the longest gold “prong”.) The coin itself is silver. The gross weight of the entire pendant is 4.49 Grams, approximately. The pendant setting is open on both sides making the item reversible, if desired. The coin is genuine, not a reproduction. Unidentified source/wreck, found by beachcomber with a metal detector in the early 1990s, slightly south of Cape Canaveral, Florida. Coin exhibits some visible but relatively mild “shipwreck effect” wear/corrosion, not severe though and still plenty of detail visible, very strong cross.
Included with the coin is a photographic informational certificate with details and specifications accompanied by full color images of the item and info on history/origins (when available) . What you see in the photos is
