    Description

    Authentic half-real (1/2 Reale) denomination Spanish-colonial era silver cob coin, minted in Bolivia, part of a collection of mixed Spanish colonial coins which had no specific details with them when purchased from an estate. This coin still retains a very visible/clear three-digit date, reading "617" (1617) on one side (see photos), with the opposite side of the coin showing part of a small partial cross (w/ lions, castles) which is very small but in excellent, clearly-defined form. The coin is mounted in this custom made bezel setting pendant, and the bezel itself is Sterling Silver. Gross weight of the entire item is approximately 3.89 grams.
