Armstrong Flute Model 80 - Sterling Silver Head & Body - B Foot - Open Hole

This flute is a W. T. Armstrong Model 80 produced in Elkhart, Indiana in 1979.  It has a B Foot and open hole keys, one of which is closed by a cork filler.  It came in a #234 case.  The serial number engraved on the flute is 29 64381.
I purchased this flute for my daughter 20 August 1980 for her birthday when she was in high school.  The list price in 1980 was ,190.00 and I paid 2.00.  She played it from then until about 1993 in both high school and college, and later for relaxation.  She passed away early in 1994.  The flute has been stored in my smoke and pet free home since then.
My daughter was always careful with her things, consequently this flute was treated carefully while it was in use.  To ensure its playable condition after so many years of storage, I recently sent it away to be inspected.  After minor repairs, it was returned as fully playable.
