    Description

    Condition: Excellent, Professionally Serviced
My personal experience is that this flute is an easy player (easier than my more expensive Yamaha). This flute has been serviced, bent keys have been aligned, 1 pad was replaced, it was adjusted and regulated, mechanisms were oiled and it was play tested before being returned to me.
One additional note, the maintenance work performed by my instrument repair expert, has made a huge difference between being frustrated with notes that I previously struggled to play evenly with stability and being able to play the notes smoothly and with ease. The purchaser of this instrument will be the beneficiary of this work.
In the student market, Armstrong is considered one of the better makers, having built a reputation of quality and craftsmanship throughout its complete line of flutes. The
    103 OS is no exception,
offering both durability and dependability. Because of it's durability (and dependability), it is an especially great band and jazz instrument.
    FEATURES OF THE 103 OS
    ·        The "Progressive" style headjoint offers players crisp response and ease of playing throughout all registers.
    ·        The offset G key follows the natural contour of student's hands and makes playing more comfortable.
    ·        Open hole keys provide students the ability to develop and progress into a higher level of playing, encourages proper hand position and provides more clarity in tone.
    ·        Removable silicon covers allow the student to start playing with the advantages of learning on a closed  hole instrument, advancing to open hole, by removing the covers when ready, without the added expense of replacing the instrument.
    ·        Top adjusting screws provide ease of repair and adjustment to keys.
    ·        Built in Elkhart, Indiana, the
    Armstrong 103OS
flute is designed to last and provide a superb playing experience for students.
