his listing is for a lot of two flutes for repair/restoration, parts, or maybe just for display. These instruments are in generally good physical condition, but will need new pads, corks, cleaning, etc. Please see below for the specifics of each instrument.
Flute #1 - Branded "The Dixie Music House Chicago". I'm told it is a stencil made by Bettoney. Serial #2197. This instrument is in very good physical condition. There are no dents, dings, or other damage, and the tenon of the headjoint is perfectly round. The plating (nickel?) is quite tarnished. The pads are worn, so they will need to be replaced. The case is in fair condition, but heavily worn.
Flute - The body is black. I think this was a home paint job, but whomever did it at least took the time to mask off the ribs/posts/etc. I don't see a brand name, but it may just be covered by paint.
I'm assuming it is nothing special in terms of brand/quality.
Aside from the paint, this instrument is in decent physical condition. There are a couple tiny nicks on the lip plate, but no significant dents or dings. The tenon of the headjoint is slightly out of round. The plating (nickel?) on the keys is worn. The pads are worn, so they would need to be replaced. The case is in good condition.
The listing price includes both instruments.

    Thanks again for looking!
    Note to international buyers:
Due to the current global pandemic, international shipments via USPS mail are experiencing significant delays. This is due to lack of available transportation (ie. mail is normally carried overseas as cargo on commercial passenger flights, however the flight schedules have been slashed). European buyers have experienced wait times of up to 2 months for shipments to arrive. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time. I sincerely apologize for this, unfortunately unavoidable, inconvenience.
