Serial Number 5599: Jan. 22 1920 Flute LP CL G# C Silver
Rare sterling silver flute made by the William S. Haynes Co. of Boston, MA.  Made in 1920 according to the serial number (5599).  Excellent original condition with original case.
Overall condition is excellent.  Comes with the original cleaning wand as well.
Found in a wealthy local estate where it passed down in the family.
Condition:  The flute itself appears to be in excellent condition.  Has not been seen by a professional, so I do not know if there are any issues as far as how it plays.  There are two small silver pieces that come off that would be very rare to stay with the flute since 1920, but they are there!
The locks on the case so not seem to work to keep it closed.  They function, however I think there may be a slight warp to the case that prevents the latches from catching.  General wear to the case.  Case appears to be the original.
