    "Dual-wall" means that the tubing has an adhesive inner layer which melts when the tube is heated to be shrunk. It is not sticky until melted. The adhesive encapsulates your wire as the tube shrinks to protect from the elements

    SAFETY/TIPS/GUIDE:
    Be careful not to burn yourself by touching hot items! Read and obey all safety instructions for operation of whatever heat source you choose to utilize when heating the tubing. No, hair driers do not get hot enough to shrink most tubes (though they may work on tiny sizes). Do not exceed 110 degrees Celsius. The tubing and adhesive can get very hot! Adhesive can be forced out of the tube if excessively heated/shrunk/pressed, handle with care to avoid burning yourself! While heated, the tubing is in a softened state until it cools; avoid excessive stretching/force on the tubing until it cools and firms up. Safety gloves/goggles and respiratory mask are recommended. Work in a well-ventilated and non-flammable workspace.
